Sim free does not usually mean pay as you go. Sim free implies that there is no sim card that comes with the phone and is not lovked to any other network. It might be worth sending them a quick email before you purchase though.

Hi Mr x the answer to your question is yes you can get google maps all you need to do is go onto the google wap site & download it from there & put it your applications file & yes it does work as i have an unlocked sony k850i & thats what i did & it works ok on my phone … hope this helps
